I was told that the best Emu oil comes from Australia -- is yours as good?
Both Australia and the US have high quality emu oil, provided they have been tested by the appropriate authority in that country. Our emu oil is at least as good, likely better, than Australian oils. Where do you get your emu oil from?
All of our emu oil comes from a single family farm in the United States. When it is sent to the lab for purification it is not mixed with the oil from any other emu farms.
The emus are very well cared for, with lots of room to run around, feed that is ground fresh weekly, and plenty of clean water. This has an impact on the quality of the oil itself, in terms of the amount of omega fatty acids. Oil that is derived from emus that have been stressed has measurably less omega fatty acids.
When tested and compared to emu oils from other US suppliers ours was in the top 2%.
