Where It Comes From
Determines What It Does

Every sourcing and production decision at Emu Joy is made with one standard: the highest quality possible at every step.

Emu oil is only as good
as the oil itself.

The emu oil market is largely unregulated and highly inconsistent. Products range from minimally processed farm-sourced oil to poorly refined batches that carry impurities, oxidize quickly, and perform unpredictably on skin. Most consumers have no way to tell the difference from a label.

We do, and it is why we are selective about where our oil comes from and how it is processed before it reaches your skin.

Humanely raised.
Carefully tended.

Our emus are raised in large open pens with constant access to clean feed and fresh water. They are monitored daily and processed in state-inspected facilities under conditions that meet rigorous welfare standards.

This is not incidental. The quality of the animal's care directly affects the quality of the fat, and therefore the quality of the oil. The fat we source consistently ranks among the top 2% nationally for quality, a direct reflection of how our animals are raised.
We do not source from farms whose practices we cannot verify. Ethical sourcing is a vital production standard of ours.

Precision at the
production level.

After harvest, the fat is sent to a food-grade refinery where it is processed to remove unwanted byproducts while keeping the beneficial fatty acid profile intact. This level of refinement to cosmetic and food-grade standards is what separates high-performance emu oil from the inconsistent, lower-cost alternatives that dominate most of the market.

Many brands skip or minimize this step. We do not. The refinement process is where purity is established and where the oil's effectiveness on skin is either preserved or lost.

Oil degrades. Freshness
is a quality standard.

Emu oil oxidizes over time. An oil that has been sitting in storage for an extended period loses fatty acid integrity, which means it loses the properties that make it effective on skin.

Our oil is produced fresh each year. This is a deliberate production decision. It ensures that what reaches you is at full potency, not degraded by time or poor storage practices.

Made in the United States. Manufactured to standard.

Every Emu Joy product is manufactured in FDA-inspected facilities in the United States. Our soaps are cold-pressed in small batches, with a higher concentration of emu oil than competing products.

Every step of manufacturing is held to the same standard as the sourcing that precedes it.
